Anthony Lopez joins Ansell's Medical Global Business Unit

Ansell Limited, a leading provider of protective solutions, including medical gloves and supplies, has appointed Anthony Lopez as president and general manager of its Medical Solutions Global Business Unit (GBU).
Lopez will oversee the GBU's global business operations, managing all aspects of marketing, r&d and strategic planning.
“Tony’s decades of experience in the medical device industry will be pivotal in driving Ansell's growth and innovation across the acute and non-acute care, and surgical supplies markets in which we operate,” said Magnus Nicolin, chief executive of Ansell Limited.
Lopez joins Ansell from CareFusion where he was senior vice president and general manager, Respiratory Systems. Prior to this he was at Johnson & Johnson for 18 years in leadership roles in operations, manufacturing, sales and marketing and general management in its Ethicon and DePuy franchises. He will be based at the firm’s North and Latin American headquarters in Red Bank, New Jersey, US.
