MSS Clean Technology Limited, based in York, is a leader in the design, construction and delivery of specialist cleanrooms, containment suites, laboratories and controlled environments.

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Design Engineer to join us on a permanent basis.

Working on prestigious projects for Blue Chip clients, you would work as part of the MSS design team providing the mechanical services design and installation solutions for MSS projects.

You would be expected to work with the minimum of supervision and be able to carry out all the necessary calculations for the plant and systems associated with the projects along with assistance in the procurement and supervision of the installation contractors.

A working knowledge of Electrical Building Services AutoCAD and building construction techniques would be advantageous.

You will also be expected to liaise with the client and be a "team player" working within the MSS and client's design teams.

This role would suit someone who is both mechanical biased and customer facing.

You should be familiar with building services design and be able to produce work quickly and accurately.

Experience in our clients’ specialist area of operation would put you in the driving seat although this is not essential.

Ideally professionally qualified, you will be able to "hit the ground running" and make an immediate impact on our heavy workload.

Reporting to the Engineering Services Director, this role will offer significant career development for the right candidate.
