The 7400AD emits a visible and audible alarm when concentrations of airborne fibres reach user-defined levels
A key analytical and safety device in manufacturing operations and asbestos removal, the Model 7400AD emits both a visible and an audible alarm when it detects user-defined concentrations of airborne fibres such as asbestos, mineral wool, advanced composites, ceramic and glass. With the help of the on-board software, the system automatically ignores non-fibrous particles and provides a count of target fibres within the user-specified performance range. During monitoring, the system simultaneously collects samples on standard filters for subsequent microscopic or chemical analysis.
