AAF to unveil air filtration technology at ICCCS symposium
AAF will launch its latest air filtration technology at the 21st ICCCS event being held in Zurich from 3-7 September. The company believes the air filtration technology will set a new standard in terms of energy savings and durability for applications working in classified environments.
This new air filtration technology for HEPA and ULPA filters is based on unique air filtration media developed by AAF’s engineers. The media possess several distinctive characteristics that combine low operating resistance with high particulate collection efficiency and a superior durability.
The company says a reliable and non-failing air filtration media is indispensable for critical process applications that require careful control of airborne contamination, such as the pharmaceutical and microelectronic industries.
AAF has recently conducted an in-depth research study on the mechanical strength properties of HEPA air filtration media, in which traditional media are compared with the latest generation of membrane based media.
Based on the research results, the company will present a technical paper that will demonstrate how the latest generation of membrane-based media is able to reduce process risks and enhance operational performance.
Participants in the symposium are invited to experience the durability of the media at the AAF exhibition display where they can also inform themselves about the air filtration solutions.
AAF is a main sponsor of the forthcoming ICCCS 2012, Europe's biennial symposium on contamination control and a meeting place for those interested in clean production in all industrial areas and life sciences as well as in research.
The 21st edition will concentrate on clean technologies for the future. Latest insights and best practices will be shared during the scientific sessions by the experts on cleanroom management and contamination control, including new research results and novel applications of emerging technologies.
