Helapet, the UK healthcare and laboratory supplier, has been named exclusive healthcare distributor of the Carbosorb PLUS facemask.
The product is made by Charcoal Cloth International (CCI) and incorporates a layer of Zorflex-activated charcoal cloth with a vapour and solvent-adsorbant microporous internal surface area of 3,600m2.
It is claimed to gives hospital staff the best protection to date of any single-use respirator. An adjustable nosebridge and high airflow allow users to breathe freely in various hospital environments where vapours, odours , sprays or fumes are present.
